Christmas Cafe November 17, 2018

Community Waterfront Heritage Centre
Christmas Cafe aboard Coach #4884

The Community Waterfront Heritage Centre (CWHC) welcomes visitors to the family friendly CHRISTMAS CAFE on Saturday November 17, 2018, from 9 AM until 2 PM.

Seasonal treats, (hot chocolate, coffee, hot cider & Christmas cookies), will be served by CWHC volunteers on board historic 1953 Coach #4884, with a special guest appearance by “Mrs. Claus” between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

The 1932 CN station will be decked out for the holidays with the model train layouts and museum displays, including the 2018 exhibit “Fish Tales”, celebrating Owen Sound’s rich fishing heritage, available. Children can enjoy interactive activities, a museum scavenger hunt, and ‘make & take’ holiday crafts.

Admission is $2 per child, $3 per adult and includes a hot drink & treat. This is a fundraiser for CWHC and all admission proceeds support the general operation of the museum.

The GEORGIAN BAY GARDEN CLUB will be onsite selling wreaths and urn inserts. These stunning original designs by members of the Georgian Bay Garden Club are natural live greens and materials. This is a major fundraiser for the club, and the public is encouraged to support this initiative, so that they may continue with their many garden beautification projects around the city.
