As of July 19, 2021, the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre is open to welcome visitors inside the Marine and Rail Waterfront Museum. You can still enjoy the outdoor artifacts, large and small, on the east and north side of the former CN Station.
The theme of the main 2021 exhibit is 100 Years on the Waterfront. It celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Owen Sound Transportation Company.
To begin, the Heritage Centre will be open to visitors 5 days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Admission is by donation.
Thank you supporting the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre.
Each time you visit, please sign the guest book.
Summer 2021: Until further notice, the Coach and Caboose are not open to in-person visits.
Have you climbed aboard the caboose to see what one looks like inside?
Have you had a chance to visit Coach 4884?
Welcome to the former CN Rail Station. The entrance to the museum is through the Owen Sound Tourism Office. The building is air-conditioned in summer.
