SUMMARY:Heritage Harbour Walks
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an evening stroll along the waterfront with the CWHC’s Heritage Harbour Walks. James Giberson will entertain and educate on a 45 minute tour which will leave you with a deeper understanding of Owen Sound’s history. \nTours will run each Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7:00pm\, starting June 20. Tours begin at the CWHC and end by The Launch. SUMMARY:Owen Sound's Inaugural Marine and Rail Show and Sale
DESCRIPTION:Join the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre in Owen Sound to celebrate railroad and ship modelers at this inaugural event! This show and sale will feature layouts\, literature\, and more\, and will have plenty to entertain both newcomers to the hobby and those who have been at it for years. The show will take place at the Owen Sound Legion from 10:00am to 4:00pm on September 28th. Admission to the show is $5 for those age 12 and up\, and includes admission to the CWHC. \nTo register as a vendor\, email info@waterfrontheritage.ca. The registration fee is $20 for a 6-foot table which you can use to show off layouts and models\, sell or trade pieces you don’t need anymore\, and more.
