Owen Sound received a shipment of salt for the winter on August 16, 2026. The Algoma Intrepid arrived in the afternoon to unload salt near the grain elevator.
The Intrepid was the first of our regular visitors to arrive this season. While a few boats have been into the harbour during the 2026-27 season, many were first-time visitors like the Ontario Venture or the Petite Forte and St. Marys Cement.
